Jan Lubitz born 1976. Studied of architecture at “Technische Universität Braunschweig”. Studied in preservation of monuments and historic buildings in Berlin. Lives in Hamburg as architectural historian, monument conservator and journalist. Publications, exhibitions, lectures and guided tours about the development of the HafenCity, Hamburg architects, churches, as well as Gustav Oelsner and SAGA. Current research about Carl Gustav Bensel, the building history of the Mönckebergstraße, plus the architecture of “Hamburg Kontorhäuser”. Author of the website www.architekten-portrait.de.
